Spotlight On Success - November
So much has been happening out at Princess Margaret Hospital through the team at Hospital School Services that we thought they definitely needed the spotlight shone in their direction!
Resources: 'HSS Music Station' - Starting with really no music resources available, so a proposal to the finance committee saw the approval for a 'portable music station' to include a range of easily accessible and useable instruments and some music technology opportunities. With all things purchased and the work station built Term 4 saw the project up and running and popular amongst teachers and students!
Partnership with Starlight - Through the Starlight Foundation's 'Club Ado' in PMH for adolescents afternoon activities were run twice a week in a joint session offering music, multimedia & animated arts based experiences... another great ongoing project for 2008!
Red Kite, Music Therapist - Through discussions with a Music Therapist that works at PMH a relationship developed focussing on both the therapeutic benefits of music and the natural enjoyment that comes through this artfrom.
Plus... ongoing partnership discussions and developments that look to bring BIG benefits in 2008 and onwards!
