Spotlight On Success - December
It was a sensational start to the day on Tuesday 4th December when over 80 representatives of the Arts and Cultural Sector met at Subiaco Arts Centre for a briefing of what was a huge 2007.
Representing a variety of arts practitioners and organisations, representatives from Department of Education and Training and Department of Culture and the Arts recognised the many milestones that were achieved during the year, and most importantly the contribution and commitment of arts and cultural practitioners and organisations to the ongoing partnerships and programs they provide for and with school communities.
It was also a chance to recognise and celebrate the Visual Arts Foundation, a well loved and long standing partner in primary and secondary Artists in Residence, who are winding down their program this year.
A fabulous end to the year... and wonderful recognition of arts and culture in education throughout Western Australia.
