Year 11 and 12
In 2002 The Curriculum Council of Western Australia launched the Our Youth, Our Future report which outlined the process for developing and implementing a new system of curriculum, assessment and certification for years 11 and 12.
New courses are being developed and implemented in three phases. A number of these courses have been developed as VET version courses, enabling students to achieve a qualification as well as credit towards their WACE.
Courses directly related to The Arts include:
- Dance
- Drama
- Media Production and Analysis
- Music
- Visual Arts
- Design
with the latter four having intergrated VET and VET versions available.
