Project planning and delivery

A key to the success of an artist working in the classroom is collaborative planning and delivery.

The most rewarding projects are those which are thoroughly researched and have involved considerable consultation between artists and a wide ranging representation of the school community (including students, teachers, administration and parents) prior to commencement.

When discussing your idea with a school and planning your project together, consider the following:

Project content
People
Facilities, equipment and materials
Funding and budgeting
Meeting Department of Education policy requirements
The project brief and agreement
Preparatory work and project delivery
